MOUNT Lottie M. Mount age 93, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016. Long time resident of Obetz. At 65, she began 10 years of service as secretary/receptionist of the Obetz Community/Senior Centers. She was active and volunteered in many community organization including, Sunshine & Smiles Food Pantry and Obetz Parks & Recreation Department. She served on Zucchinifest committees for over ten years. Just for fun, she "Played the spoons" with the Obetz Kitchen Band. Some of her other activities include 7 years as secretary of the Friendly Villages group, 10 years as Presiding Judge at local Polling Place, 6 years as vice president of the church women's group. In 1996 she was honored as Obetz Citizen of the year. Member of Obetz United Methodist Church where she served as treasurer for over 20 years. Lottie is preceded in death by parents; 3 brothers; 1 sister; husband, Vinson who she was married to for 37 years; 2 sons. Survived by daughters, Connie Watkins and Janet Mount; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren .
