HAINES Louis "Louie"Francis Haines, aged 89, passed away Sunday August 6, 2017. Louie will be missed by his wife, Wanda (Koehler); children, Kathy (Paul) Dysart, Marie Haines, Jeff (Patty) Haines, and Bill (Shelly) Haines; sisters, Mary Louise (Tom) Willis, Suzanne Price, Nancy (Mike) Stoltz; sister-in-law, Patsy (Joseph) Haines; grandchildren, Troy and Tyler Haines, Abbey Harrison, Danielle Ginther, Derek and Devin Dysart; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Louie was preceded in death by his parents, Louis P and Anna Louise Haines; brothers, Joseph and Theodore, and sister-in-law, Virginia. Louie was born in Columbus, Ohio and raised in Groveport, Ohio. He was a registered surveyor and a veteran of the Army Air Corp. Louie was active in the Ohio State Beekeepers Association and the Boy Scouts Council who awarded him the Silver Beaver for his service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mt Carmel Hospice, Hopewell Methodist Church, Groveport, or the Boy Scouts. A memorial service is planned for September.
