Mabel A. Woods, age 77 of Columbus passed away March 20, 2015 peacefully in her sleep after a strong battle with cancer at her residence. She was born December 25, 1937 to the late John and Elizabeth McCoy Joyce Sr. She was preceded in death by husband Joseph S. Woods and son James H. Woods. Mabel A. Woods was a loving mother and grandmother. Survived by her devoted companion, Raymond P. Connolly; a loving daughter, Susan A. Woods (Morgan); sons, Johnny P. Woods Sr. and Rev. Juan N. Woods Sr. and; numerous grandchildren including, Oscar L. Morgan Jr., Lillian S. Morgan, Johnny P. Woods Jr. and April C. Woods; the Joyce Family; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other dear family.
