Mamie Kay "Sis" Mohler was granted her Angel wings on January 17, 2021. Mamie was born on January 20th, 1954 in Nelsonville, Ohio. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends at the home of her daughter in the care of God's earthly Angels of mercy from OhioHealth. Mamie is preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Strausbaugh; sisters Mildred Mohler and Goldie Mae Ryan; and grandson David Lane. Mamie is survived by: husband Gary Miller, her brothers Neil Mohler (Angie) and Robert Strausbaugh (Dee); children, Nancy Kay (Jason) Schmidt, Jack (Mary) Lane, Joanna (Phil) Madden, Jessica Lane, and Doug Miller; grandchildren, John Michael, Joseph, Jessica, Raven, Chantelle, Josh, Chris, Miles, Gabe, Alex, Esperanza, Karletta, Asha-Mae, Omar, and Sabrina; great grandchildren Zoey, Creeley, Harper, Jason, and Brantley, and other loving family members who always remained part of her family circle like long time sister-in-law Miriam Strausbaugh, first husband Jessie Mills, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. And last, but certainly not least, is her faithful companion Snickers, the dachshund, who provided her with many laughs and great memories. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude for the doctors, nurses, and Hospice personnel at OhioHealth, as well as the medics at the Columbus Division of Fire.
