Marcella Elaine Darity, a loving and generous soul, passed away on December 5, 2024.  Born on March 6, 1945, in Big Ugly, West Virginia, to Lennie and Blucher Toney, Marcella's life was filled with love, family, and a deep appreciation for country music.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Shelton Darity, and her cherished son, Donnie. Marcella is survived by her devoted daughter, Donna, and her loving son, Ronnie. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Jessie, Kacie, Angel, Ronnie, Danny, and Joey.

Marci's warmth and generosity touched the lives of many. Her love for country music was a constant source of joy and comfort throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of Marcella's life will be held at O.R. Woodyard Funeral Home, 1346 S. High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43207, on December 14, 2024, from 1pm to 3pm.
