Marie Jones, age 79, of Columbus, OH, went to be with the Lord May 30, 2011 at home. Graduate of The Ohio State University College of Nursing. Retired RN from Children's Hospital. Lifetime member of Refuge Baptist Church, where she served for many years as Sunday School Superintendent and Deaconess Board Chairperson. She was an active member of the K. W. Jones Choir. An avid Buckeye Fan. She was born February 11, 1932 to the late Mamie Jones in Indiana. Preceded in death by brothers Charles, Frank, and Milford Jones, sisters Louise Holland, Jane Hornsburger, and Cora Thomas. Survived by daughter, Frankie Elise Jones-Harris; grandchildren, Lindsay and Grant Harris; and granddogs; sister, Carrie E. Moore; a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Visitation Friday, June 3, Refuge Baptist Church, 400 N. 20th St. 5:30 p.m. until time of service. Service 7 p.m. Pastor Kaiser W. Jones Jr. officiating.
