Marjorie Ellen Byers (Margie), age 79, passed peacefully at home Sunday morning surrounded by family. Retired employee of Methodist Eldercare (Wesley Ridge in particular). Preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Neva Smith and all four of her sisters, Pat, Joanne, Cindy and Sharon. Survived by the ever present love of her husband Norman and daughter Bev who express profound gratitude to Margie's incredible niece Lori, who walked us through every turn, every moment, providing tireless help and tender care beyond measure. Additional survivors include Margie's beloved elder children, Vici, Mike and Dennis; grandchildren and great grandchildren; special friend, Angelo and longtime best friend, Kim; the phenomenal "Scram Fam" of Jess (hey girl), Dawn, Sandi, Callie, Summer, Lucy, Juaren, Alli, Katie, Mary and John; extended family including many nieces and nephews. Margie was a presence and lit up a room. She loved to laugh and she was fun and funny. She was the light and love of our life, the apple of our eye, our little lamb and lest we forget a fiery lion.
