Mark A. Thompson, age 46, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2024 in Raymond, OH. Mark was born February 14, 1978 in Columbus, OH to Dallas and Penelope Thompson. Mark was a devoted father and family man, loyal friend, and great brother and son. He had a zest for life, he was always smiling and loved spending time with those he loved.He was an avid gardener, animal lover, gamer, and legendary man on a dirt bike. Mark is preceded in death by his father, Dallas G. Thompson. He is survived by his mother, Penelope A. Thompson; fiancée, Donya Withem; children, Catrina Thompson and Mark A. Thompson II; stepdaughter, Mahayla Schoelkopf; siblings, Barbara (Troy) Thompson and Dallas (Caroline) Thompson Jr.; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Visitation for Mark will be Wednesday, July 31, 2024 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH. Interment will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester, OH.
