Marnicka "Nikki" Thissen, age 78, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026 in Columbus, OH. Born September 23, 1947, in Columbus, OH to the late Roger and Ruth Bragg. Nikki proudly lived a majority of her life in the South End of Columbus, graduating from South High School, Class of 1965. She enjoyed quilting, baking, and spending time with her family at the Little Italy Ristorante in Groveport. Nikki is preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Ruth Bragg; and brother, Lewis Bragg. She is survived by her devoted companion and lifelong partner of 52 years, Keith Hysell; sons, Mike (Sandy) Thissen and Josh (Thia) Thissen; grandson, Pierce Thissen; brother, Mark (Joetta) Bragg; several nieces, nephews, and best friend, Val as well as many other close friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 14, 2026 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH. Nikki's brother, Mark Bragg will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
