Bush

Marsha Gaye Bush, a devoted woman of faith, passed away peacefully on August 11th, 2025 at the age of 77. She was a gentle soul whose life reflected her deep love for God, her unwavering support of her family, and her ability to find joy in every season of life.
Born on September 22nd, 1947 in Columbus, OH was known for her sweet and sincere nature, her quick wit, and a sense of humor that could brighten even the hardest of days. Her faith guided her steps, and she carried herself with grace, compassion, and an open heart. She had a gift for making everyone feel loved and welcome, often becoming "Mom" to many people well beyond her own children.
One of her greatest joys in life was being a grandma—not only to her beloved grandchildren, but also to the family's pets, who she spoiled with the same tenderness and affection. Whether it was a child's laughter or a wagging tail, she cherished every life she nurtured.
Her unwavering devotion to her family was the foundation of her life. She stood beside them through every triumph and trial, offering encouragement, wisdom, and unconditional love. Her home was a gathering place filled with warmth, laughter, and the smell of a good meal—a place where friends became family.
She is survived by son, Kelly Bush and his wife Marianne Bush; grandsons, Zackary Koah and Andrew Valenzona; brothers, Michael Fout and Rick Houndstine and along with countless others whose lives were forever changed by her kindness. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Betty Fout; and daughter, Wendi Ranae Koah.
A celebration of her life will be held from 10:00AM until 12:00PM on Saturday, August 16th, 2025 at the O.R. WOODYARD Co. Funeral, with a service beginning at 12:00PM.
Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and steadfast faith—a light that will continue to shine through the countless lives she touched.
Pastor Jeremy will be officiating. Burial will follow at Fernwood Cemetery.
