Obituary

Marva L Carson left us peacefully on October 3, 2024 at the age of 81. She was born on June 8, 1943 in Waco, Georgia. Marva L Carson had a successful career as a Legislative Aide with the Ohio Legislative Service Commission office. She retired with over 20 years of service to spend more time with her family. Marva lived a life full of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Marva was a pillar of strength and wisdom in our family. She dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting her loved ones, always putting their needs before her own. Her warm smile and gentle spirit could light up any room and her kindness knew no bounds. Whether it was baking her famous cakes, pies, cooking meals for family gatherings, or making and donating pillows for Nationwide Children's Hospital, she had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel cherished. She was a proud worker in many trades. Whatever she set her mind to do she could accomplish. Marva instilled in her children and grandchildren the values of hard work, compassion, and resilience. She was a passionate soul, often sharing her talents with those around her.

Her legacy of creativity and joy will continue to inspire us all and she will be greatly missed. Marva is survived by her children Victoria(Wayne) Peeples, Theodore(Samantha) Carson Sr. Brother John Lambert Jr, Sister Janet White, Eight grandchildren, Theodore(Elisabeth) Carson Jr, Deyonte Carson, Matthias Carson, Aleecia Carson, Jahleel Carson, Alex Peeples, Jovonni(Ricky)Campbell, Makayla Peeples, 6 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family & friends who will carry on her memory in their hearts. She was preceded in death by her Father and Mother John & Lucille Lambert Sr, Brothers Warren Lambert & Steve Lambert.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Alzheimer''s Association in her honor, as she battled Alzheimer''s for the last decade. Rest in peace, dear Marva Carson. You will no longer suffer pain. Your love will forever be our guiding light, and you will be deeply missed by all who knew you.

The family will greet guests on Friday, October 11, 2024, from 10:00 AM until the time of service at Pfeifer Woodyard Funeral Home in Reynoldsburg, Ohio with the service beginning at 12:00 noon, Deacon Ted Carson Sr and Elder Alfred Simmons officiating.

Burial follows at Glen Rest Memorial Estates, 8029 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, Ohio.
