Mary Charlene Burnett, age 86, passed away Wednesday October 21, 2026, at her home. Mary was born January 1, 1940, in Columbus, Ohio to the late Jay and Wanda (McGlaughlin) Edmister. As well as her parents Mary is also preceded in death by her husband, George Burnett of 38 years; daughter, Nancy Burnett; and son, Thomas Brunett. She is survived by her son, Robert (Susan) Burnett; daughter, Mary (Greg) Phillips; grandchildren, Phillip Loel, Gregory Phillips, and Emily Phillips; great granddaughter, Eileen Phillips; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Burnett.
