Guests are invited to wear a touch of purple in honor of Mary's favorite color and her love of butterflies.

Mary's Life Journey of Love, Faith, and Resurrection Life :

Mary was a beautiful, compassionate woman whose life reflected deep love for God, her family, her church, and her friends. She loved with sincerity making others feel seen and valued.

Mary poured her deepest love into her family, who were the heartbeat of her life. She was dearly loved by her parents, Sheila and Les Bowling and Roger Callahan; sister, Amanda Richards; niece, Ava Caite Richards; Aunt Kim and Uncle David Collins; Aunt Nancy and Uncle Buster Lewis.

Her greatest earthly love was her husband Ryan, with whom she shared 17 beautiful years of marriage and raised their children: Liam, 11; Xandria, 8; and Alaric, 7. Her dream of being a stay-at-home mom became possible in 2025 when she retired from OSHA with full benefits after 25 years of Federal Government service.

When Mary joined Ryan Hallquist in holy matrimony, she joined a beautiful family with parents Rhonda Jean and Tim Collins and David Hallquist; sister-in-law, Machala & spouse Dylan, nephew Ezra and niece Alice and Grandmother, Sue Sullivan.

Even now, we can almost hear her gentle reassurance: "It's going to be okay." Those words reflect the comfort, courage, and faith she carried, even in difficult moments.

Mary's love for God overflowed into ministry and service. In her youth and young adult years, she served through youth leadership, children's ministry, missionary work, and travels to India, Peru, the Bahamas, Bermuda, Africa, and many churches across the United States.

Mary was a member of Eagle Rock Church for over 29 years. She served in Overcoming Together Ministry, children's ministry, drama team, Gritty Girls advisor, and apart of Gritty Women of God team. Mary and Ryan were also members of Eagle Rock Covenant Network.

As we place Mary in God's loving hands, we thank our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who has given her a new body, prepared a place for her, and watched over her all her life. Mary loved Him deeply and is now whole in His presence, worshiping before the throne and joining the heavenly chorus: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty." Because of Christ, we do not grieve without hope; we hold to the promise of resurrection life and eternal love in Him. Jesus promised abundant life (John 10:10). His teachings show that this abundant life is Spirit-filled, resurrection life.
