Mary Phyllis Hogan, age 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 11, 2024. She was born on January 29, 1933, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her father William Cooke; mother Marie Cooke Brackett; daughter Debra Richardson; son-in-law Donald Richardson; great grandson Nicholas Crago; two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her husband Edward Hogan; daughter Linda (Gene) Hartley; son James (Judy) Hogan; son Michael (Patricia) Hogan; sister Frances Kratzer; special sister-in-law Mary Mara and her husband Tom; grandchildren Christopher (Krista) McGee; Kathy McGee; Joseph DeVault; Matthew Hogan; Mark Hogan; Amanda Hogan; Tony Hogan; great grandchildren Leone McGee; Samone (Jeremiah) Weekley; Natalie Crago; Mackenzie McGee; great great grandchildren Gemma Henderson; Mason Weekley; Elena Henderson; and many other family and friends.

Phyllis was an employee of Mercy/Columbus Community Hospital for several years. She was an incredible cook and enjoyed preparing holiday feasts, highlighted by her famous lasagna, chocolate cream pie, and Italian cookies. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, slot machines, bingo, and collecting figurines and Christmas decorations.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 AM until time of service at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home on 587 Main St, Groveport, OH 43125. Interment will follow to Forest Lawn Cemetery. Father Brian O'Connor will be officiating.
