Mary Elaine (Torr) Riggs, age 74, passed away unexpectedly on March 28th, 2025, at St. Ann's Hospital with her daughters by her side. She was born in Columbus, OH, on February 20, 1951, to her late parents, Robert Torr and Mary (Adkins) Ball.

Elaine was an exceptional mom. She was also a cherished grandmom, great grandmom and friend. Her family and friends meant everything to her, and she was always there for them no matter what they needed.

Elaine was a loving, patient, kind and giving person and fun to be around. She enjoyed listening and dancing to music and caring for her flowers. She had a passion for astrology and spent her free time looking at the stars. She loved Elvis Presley, Ronnie McDowell, poetry, animals, rainbows, her cat, Maverick, and was the heart of her family. Her smile and laugh would light up the room and her eyes sparkled when she was around her family. Elaine had a wonderful soul and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her late parents, stepfather, Lenville Ball; brother, Donald Wolfe, and daughter, Janet Riggs. She is survived by her daughters, Ronanda (Elmer) Graves and Donella (Eddy Sexton) Riggs; grandchildren, Jacob, Mariah (Dylan), Brittany, Torri (Tyler), Spencer, Shaina (Chris), Tawny, Kirsten, Leila, Chelsey, Laney; great-grandchildren, Salem, Graesin, Aurora (Rori), Gabby, Faith, Jaxun, Porter, Haiden, Adelynn, Sunny, Jensun, Callum, Genevieve, Jordan; siblings, David (Anne) Miller, Marty Swick, Robert Pipes; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Friends and family can call from 11:00AM until the time of service at 1:00PM on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the O.R. WOODYARD Co. 2990 Bethel Road, Columbus, OH 43220. Pastor Tim Womack will be officiating. Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Hilliard, Ohio.
