Mary Elizabeth Spillman, age 72, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Mary was born on February 3, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Manley and Dorothy Spillman. She was a 1970 graduate of Marion-Franklin High School, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology at The Ohio State University. She retired from the Ohio State University Library. Mary was a lifelong Buckeye fan. She enjoyed her time spent vacationing at the Outer Banks in North Carolina, along with reading and collecting cook books, also adventures trying new restaurants, as friends remember her gentle nature and her willingness to always lend a helping hand and a listening ear. Preceded in death by brother, Robert G. Spillman. Those left to cherish her memory includes sisters, Effie Spillman, Karen Osborne (Larry Baviera) and Lynette Cahill, also special friend Mary Harris, nieces, nephews and extended family.
