Mary M (Eagon) Upton, 89, Wednesday, February 4, 2015, Forest Hills, Columbus, Ohio. Born November 21, 1925 in Springfield, OH. She was a long time resident of the south end, retired from Big Bear after 26 years of service, and a member of Southern Baptist Church. She loved gardening, fishing and shopping at Goodwill. Mary loved children and was everyone's favorite Aunt. She is preceded in death by parents, John Gardner and Audrey Jeannete (Deal) Eagon; husband, James Upton; sisters, Virginia Taylor Smith, Donna Crites, Barbara Baugher, Eleanor Emmert; brothers, John Franklin Eagon, William Wilbur Jr, and infant brother, Howard Eagon; nieces, Peggy Taylor Bowen, Tracey Eagon, special nephew Ernest Taylor. Mary is survived by special nephew, Fred "Butch" Taylor; special niece Melissa Butcher, many nieces and nephews and other relatives. Family will receive friends Monday, February 9 from 12 noon until the time of service at 1 pm at O.R. WOODYARD SOUTH CHAPEL 1346 S. High St. Interment to follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery.
