Matthew A. Nance, age 66, passed away on January 22, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 26, 1958, in Columbus, OH, to the late Chauncey E. and Mary June "Phillips" Nance. Matt graduated from Franklin Heights Highschool.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Phillip and Chauncey Nance; sister, Gail Nance; brother-in-law, John Sines; sister-in-law, Peggy Nance and his beloved Boston Terrier, Bonnie.

He is survived by loving partner, Laura Detty; beloved Boston Terrier, Phineas; siblings, Connie "Nance" Simes, Mark (Paula) Nance Sr. and David Nance Sr.; step-children, Savanah and Teddy Fout, Dedra Detty and Alan Wiggins; grandchildren, Brinlyn Fout, Jaxx Wiggins, Chloe Fout, and Olivia Fout; close friends, Craig Sherrod and Theresa Nichols. Matt was loved by many friends and family members, he will be missed by all!

Friends and family can call on Friday, January 31st, from 2:00PM until 5:00PM at the O.R. Woodyard Co. 1346 S. High St. Columbus, OH 43207. The family asks that in lieu of flowers to please donate towards funeral expenses.
