Maudie Lee (Ballard) Dains, passed away on January 16, 2013. She had lived most of her life in Obetz, OH, but spent her last 2 years in Assisted Living in Rockford, IL. She retired from Owens Illinois with many years of service. She loved visiting and talking with her family, friends and neighbors, and enjoyed gardening. She is survived by three brothers, Truman Ballard (Jennie) of Booneville, MS, Clarence Ballard of Oak Lawn, IL and Curtis Ballard of Booneville, MS; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Dains and her son Steve Sexton, her father Artie Ballard, her mother Julia (Moreland) Ballard, four brothers Charles Ballard, James Ballard, Taylor Ballard and Tolbie Ballard and two sisters Dorothy Basden and Mattie Collins. Friends may call Friday from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, 587 Main Street, Groveport, Ohio 43125, with service to be held immediately after. Reverend Dr. William L.
