Maxine A Herring, age 82, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Grant Medical Center. Maxine was born. August 27, 1943, Point Pleasant, WV. She is preceded in death by parents. Alfred and Beaulah (Spicer) Dowell; husband, John Herring; son, Douglas Herring; brother, Ronnie Paul Dowell.  Maxine is survived by children, Tara Kruse, Diananne Wilson and Craig Herrig; grandchildren, Tad Hooks, Kaitlyn, Kanin, Jake, Heather, Devan and Paige; great grandchildren, Harlem Hooks and Rylee Hooks; sisters, Brenda, Geri and Mary; several nieces and nephews.  Graveside service will be held at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens at 2:00 pm. Friday, May 15, 2026.
