Melba Jean Green, age 91, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Scioto Community Nursing Center. She was a retired waitress. Born in Portsmouth Ohio and resided in Lynchburg, Ohio prior to moving to Columbus. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Billy G. Green. They were married in 1983 in Greenup, KY until his death in 2016. Visitation will be 6-8pm Friday, February 4 at the O. R. WOODYARD COMPANY CHAPEL, 1346 S. High Street in Columbus. There will be an inurnment for her in Scioto Burial Park near Portsmouth at a later date.
