Chavis Michael Andrew Chavis "Rooster" "Cocky", born in Columbus, Ohio, November 30, 1979. Married the love of his life, Sara Lee Chavis on September 10, 2012. The two were together since 1995. Preceded in death by grandmother Mary Elizabeth Chavis and grandfather Lingburg Chavis, aunt Markita Chavis, father Bradley Thompson Jr., grandparents Midge and Bradley Thompson Sr., great uncle Raymond Fraley Sr., cousin Emerson Fraizer. Survived by loving wife, Sara Lee Chavis (Tackett); children, Seth (15), Landyn (9), Anthony (20), Terry (16), Tyler (13); brother, Mitchell Chavis; many other brothers, sister, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. Michael was a foreman/supervisor at Columbus Roofing and Sheet Metal for over 10 years. Michael loved his wife and kids. He enjoyed with his family fishing, hunting, camping, collecting guns and knives. His favorite teams are Pittsburg Steelers, Kentucky Wildcats and Cincinnati Reds. Visitation will be Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the O. R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High Street, where the funeral service will be Saturday 1 p.m. Interment Obetz Cemetery.
