Michael L. Igel, age 73 of Groveport, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024.

He was an honorable Marine, a retired tire technician. An avid hunter and fisherman.

Preceded in death by parents Theodore and Leota Igel, brother Teddy, brother Timmy, and sister Christine. He was a loving husband to his wife, Carol Igel for 25 years, and a loving father to his daughter, Sharon Igel (Tony). He loved his grandchildren, Sabrina and Michael, and great grandchildren Noah and Jonah. Survived by brothers, George (Sue), Joe (Roberta) Igel, sister-in-law Sandy, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Family and Friends may call at the Myers-Woodyard Funeral Home, 587 Main Street in Groveport, on Monday March 4th from 5-8 pm. The funeral service will be Tuesday March 5th 11am with visitation 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Groveport Cemetery.
