It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Anthony Lutz of Columbus, Ohio on the 2nd of April 2024. Michael was born to Mary (King) Lutz and the late David Lutz on the 28th of May 1962 in Portsmouth, Ohio. Michael is preceded in death by father: David Lutz; Mother-In-Law: Mavis Mounts; and Brother-In-Law: Mike Miller. Michael lived 61 years with unwavering love for his family and a passion for life that touched all who were fortunate to know him. Michael is survived by his loving Wife: Diane lutz; Son: Chris (Tanya) Lutz; Daughter: Heather (Kaysan Payne) Lutz; Grandchildren: Bella, Conner, Lili, Kali, Kannon, Teagan, Kamilah; Mother: Mary Lutz; Brother: David (Sandra) Lutz; Sister's: Traci Miller and Jenni Lutz; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. Michael had an unwavering presence, he was a cherished husband, devoted father and adoring grandfather his dedication to his family was unmatched, with so much joy and a touch of his trademark humor and quick wit which endured him to all those that knew him. The tranquility Michael found when fishing was paralleled only by the joy he found in his children and grandchildren. Michael leaves behind a legacy filled with precious memories and moments, his absence leaves behind a void in the lives of those he loved. In memory of Michael Anthony Lutz who was dearly loved and whose life was a testament to the enduring power of family bonds and the simple joys that make life well lived. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to join them in celebrating Michael's life at the O.R. Woodyard Co. located at 1346 S. High St. Columbus, OH 43207. Visitation will be from 5pm-8pm on Monday, April 8th, 2024. Funeral Services will be held on 11:00am, Tuesday April 9th, 2024; Officiating Pastor Jim King. Interment will follow at Fernwood Cemetery: 460 Rowe rd., Lockbourne, OH 43137 The family will thereafter welcome guest for a luncheon at The Obetz community center 1650 Obetz Ave, Obetz, OH 43207
