It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mitch Mitchell on May 1, 2025, at the age of 67.

Mitch is lovingly remembered and survived by his devoted partner of 41 years, Suzanne; his son, Nicholas and daughter-in-law, Erin; and his cherished grandson, Knight. He also leaves behind his mother, Geneva; brother, Greg (Christine); sisters, Sherri (Gerry) and Julie; along with numerous nieces and nephews who will deeply miss his presence in their lives.

Throughout his life, Mitch demonstrated an unwavering work ethic and dedication to his craft as an electrician at Converse Electric, where he built a long and passionate career. His colleagues knew him as a skilled professional who took pride in his work and was always ready to lend a helping hand.

Mitch was known for his generosity and kindness, always ready to volunteer his expertise to help others in need. His selfless nature and willingness to assist anyone who asked were hallmarks of his character that endeared him to all who knew him.

Beyond his professional life, Mitch found joy in working with his hands and had developed a talent for woodworking in recent years. His beautiful handcrafted pens and clocks stand as testaments to his creativity, patience, and attention to detail. These treasured creations will serve as lasting reminders of his artistic spirit and craftsmanship.

Mitch held a special place in his heart for the Tunnels to Towers organization, which builds homes for veterans. He admired their mission and supported their work to help those who served our country, reflecting his appreciation for service members and their sacrifices.

A man of quiet strength and integrity, Mitch's legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the memories he created with family and friends. He was a man of few words, but when he spoke, his comments were always insightful, often wrapped in a touch of sarcasm and delivered with sharp wit that brought both laughter and reflection. The impact of his caring nature, quiet wisdom, and remarkable craftsmanship will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who knew him.

A celebration of Mitch's life will be held at Pfeifer-Woodyard Funeral Home, 7915 E Main St, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068, on Saturday, May 10 from 11am to 2pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation in Mitch's memory.
