Moses Clay Jude's Obituary
Moses Jude was born on June 11, 1935, in Beauty, Kentucky. He earned a bachelor's degree in
English Literature from Pikeville College in Pikeville, Kentucky. Moses dedicated his life to education,
teaching for three years in Warfield, Kentucky, one year in Lenore, and 27 years at General Sherman
Junior High School in Lancaster, Ohio. He resided in Lancaster for 62 years with his beloved wife,
Opal Huff Jude, who survives him. Burial will take place on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 in Mountain
View Memorial Gardens at Maher, WV.
