Nancy May Lawler, age 82, passed away on October 31, 2020. She was born on May 16, 1938 to the late Robert and Dorothy (Carpenter) Phillips in Columbus, Ohio. Nancy had the heart of a caring servant as evidenced by her long career of 35 years at the Heinzerling Developmental Center which she loved. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dorothy, and brother, Robert Phillips Jr. She is survived by her husband of 53 loving years, John Lawler. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her sons, John S. Lawler II and his wife Maggie, Michael and wife, Tonda Lewis; daughter, Cheryl Lewis; grandchildren, Robert Lewis, Abigail Lawler, and Megan Lawler; sister, Carolyn Davenport; many nieces, nephews, other family and dear friends. Friends are invited to a graveside service for Nancy at 1 PM on Friday, November 6, 2020 at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High St, Lockbourne OH, 43137. Pastor Jerry Roff officiating.
