Narcissus G. Hammond, age 91, went home to be with the Lord on February 27, 2026, at home with her family at her side.  Born January 4, 1935, in Louisa, Ky to Millard and Florence (Hayes) Wellman.  Member of Heritage Free Will Baptist Church.  Nora is preceded in death by parents, Millard and Florence Wellman; siblings, Carl, John, Ray, Roy (Opal), Millard, Henry (Erma), Monnie (Wallace), Milton (Irene), Regaina (Marvin), Willard (Mary) and Willie; Sister-in-law, Eskelene 'Sis' (Loran) Wellman; husband, Ersel Hammond; son-in-law. David Ramsey; granddaughter, Chante.  Survived by daughter, Barb Ramsey; grandchildren, David Todd (Lisa) Ramsey, and Kevin (Amy) Ramsey; great-grandchildren, Seth (Jennifer) Ramsey, Sydney Ramsey, Brady (Carlee) Ramsey, Kevin Jr (Tori) Ramsey, Abbie Funk, Hailee Ramsey, Cheyanne McKenzie and Hunner Ramsey;  9 great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Carol Wellman, Brenda Wellman, and Jackie. Many nieces, nephews, family and her church family.  Friends may call at Heritage Free Will Baptist Church, 575 Obetz Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43207 on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 10:00 am until time of service at 12 noon.  Pastors Tim Stout and Johnathan Washak officiating.  Burial will follow at Obetz Cemetery.
