Nicholas Edward Ball Sr., age 45, of Columbus, Ohio passed away Wednesday July 31, 2025, at his home. Nick was born in Columbus, Ohio on March 9, 1980, to the late Ettie "Vicky" Ball.  Along with his mother, Nick is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Cora Ball; and companion, Shina Jordan. Nick is survived by his daughter Cassie Ball; and son, Nicholas Ball Jr.; father, Timmy Allen; sister, Emmalee Ball; Mother-in-law, Brenda Jordan; numerous aunts, family, and friends. Nick loved to tow cars, drag racing, fishing, gambling, and watching TV. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and always goofing around with his family mostly his nieces and nephews. Nick loved seeing his son following in his footsteps and always looked forward to those biweekly trips to the barbershop. Nick was not a perfect man but he was a trying man and that's what mattered the most. He loved his family more than anything and will be remembered as a family man and a great friend. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 13th from 5-8 pm at O. R. WOODYARD COMPANY CHAPEL 1346 S. High Street where the service will Thursday at 11am.  Interment Grove City Cemetery.
