Nikki Marie James, 42 years young, passed away October 19th, 2024 at 4:07. Born March 26th 1982. She is survived by her parents Phyllis & Richard James, Brother Richard James III, Daughters Haley James & Jayla Estep, son-in-law Tommy white, Grandchild Talilah Reese, and many other family and friends.

Nikki's biggest blessing in life was to meet and spend time with her granddaughter. She loved her family dearly. She always did her best to host holiday gatherings. She was always spreading holiday cheer. Nikki's favorite pastime would be camping or traveling. She loved spending time in the outdoors with her family. Nikki would look forward to Zoo and amusement park days with her family. Some of Nikki's favorite foods were seafood, cookout, and made from scratch dinners. Her favorite dessert was fresh cake. Nikki's always wore her heart on her sleeve. She tired her best to help everyone. Nikki took the time out before her passing to mend a lot of relationships. She strived for a better life everyday. Her impact on day to day life was huge! Even her caregivers made time to show her extra love. Nikki fought a long and hard battle. Her time on earth was short, but her peacefulness and tranquility in heaven is eternal. This final message is for anyone with a heavy heart, Nikki James is at peace. No more pain, suffering, or illness. That's all she wanted in life.

Visitation will be held Monday October 28th from 3:00 pm until the time of funeral service at 5:00 pm at O.R Woodyard 1346 S. High Street. Family will update everyone with cemetery location when inurnment arrangements have been decided. Her family ask that all donations be made directly to the funeral home.
