Nilar Nyein Maung, my dearest mom left this world on January 3 2025 at age 68. She is gone to heaven. She was born on July 17 1956, to her parents U Nyein Maung and Daw Khin Myo Sint in Yangon, Myanmar. She is the oldest of her siblings. She has two younger brothers, U Thura and U Thein Htaike. She also has two younger sisters, Daw Nyo Nyo Nyein Maung and Daw Thazin Nyein. She has two children, Win Win Khine and Naing Htoo Myint. She has a husband, Ye Myint.

She came to US back in 1995 with her two children. She came here for better education for her children. She first worked as a waitress at Little Tokyo in Los Angeles. She never have to work in her life before when she was in my country, Yangon Myanmar. She sacrificed a lot for us. She is very caring, kind and generous. She loves her relatives. She likes to help others. She enjoys watching movies and talking with her relatives on the phone.

She was diagnosed with liver cancer at the age of 64. When we found out, it was already on stage 4. She survived for four years and finally, she left us. She will always be in our heart. She will be remembered.
