Patricia "Pat" A. Eads, went home to Jesus on August 25, 2020. She was born October 2nd, 1946 in Gallipolis, Oh to the late Dorothy M Cox and Roy Basil Eads, and later moved to Columbus, Oh in the late 50's. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Crystal L. Eads and sibling, Mary R. Elkins. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Brandy M. Eads (Terrance Jordan) and Jonelle T. Eads, who provided around the clock care for her at home. Their devotion made her life more enjoyable and extended her days; grandchildren, Kayla M. Smith, Nakyia M. Eads, Tyion A. Jordan, Corey D. Eads, Allen W. Shepard, Mario D. Eads; 4 great grandchildren; siblings Walter J. (Kathy) Burns, Robert Burns, Arthur Burns, Connie (Michael) Washington, Linda (Vaughn) Dodridge and many nieces and nephews. Pat will always be remembered for her spunky personality and courageous spirit. She faced every struggle with the heart of a lion, refusing to give up. Her strength and bravery will be a lasting legacy for all who knew her. She made family time fun with her wonderful sense of humor, a knack for "telling it like it is", and her unique expressions and sayings that will never be forgotten. We celebrated her life at MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, 587 Main St. in Groveport, OH 43125, Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 2-4 p.m., where the funeral service was held at 4 p.m. Pastor Daniel Chapman officiated. Cremation and inurnment at Obetz Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a memorial fund at the funeral home in memory of Pat.
