Patricia Ann Grossie went on to be with the Lord and reunite with her beloved husband, Jim, on January 24th. Patricia was born January 19, 1938, in Iowa. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Dubuque in 1960 and went on to serve as a probation officer in the Juvenile Court in Chicago. After meeting and marrying her Jim, they relocated to Columbus, Ohio where she served the Court in a similar manner before joining the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. Survivors include her cousin, Thelma Rohlena, who she lovingly referred to as her sister; her nephew, Robert (Maureen) Leuenberger; brother-in-law, Jerome (Janet) Grossie; nieces: Norma Jean (Miguel) Perdomo and Terry (Cecil) Risinger; and many great nephews and great nieces. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband; sister, Jereldine R. Vernon; nephew, Rick D. Leuenberger; and brother-in-law, Wesley Grossie. Patricia loved her kitty, enjoyed reading and writing poetry, and was truly a sweet, compassionate soul who will be missed by many.
