Patricia "Patty" Ward, age 80, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026 at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville, OH. She was born on February 10, 1945 in Weeksbury, KY. Patty worked for Southside Daycare and was a proud member of Reese Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leck Ward; her sons, Danny Ward and Mark Ward; her parents, Ramie Isaac and Willie Bates; and her siblings, Tennis, Cleo, Lester, Chester, Junior, Evelyn Johnson, Maybelline Bock, Jean Little, and Ann Ward.

She is survived by her siblings, Ray, Clyde, Jackie, and Rhonda Slone; her son, Robbi Ward; her grandchildren, Devin Ward and Alanna Davidson; the family of Danny Ward; her great grandson, Gage Kerr; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and very good friends.

Our beloved Patty lived a life rooted in faith, love, and devotion to God and family. She carried herself with grace, even through hardship, and leaned always on the Lord for strength. Her prayers, wisdom, and gentle spirit will forever remain with us. We take comfort in knowing that she now rests in Heaven, rejoicing in the presence of Jesus, reunited with loved ones who went before her.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH, where funeral service will be held Wednesday, February, 4, 2026 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Tad Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Obetz Cemetery, Obetz, OH.
