Pattie came into this world on September 30th, 1959. Despite the many trials she overcame, she always tried to live a happy life and do good for others. She was a beautiful soul that lit up the world with her presence. She loved the color yellow because it was bright and cheerful. Pattie was a free spirit who loved tending to her garden, baking, and pursuing a variety of artistic interests. Even if she couldn't carry a tune, she had a deep love for music. She loved Rock n' Roll, Country, and music she could worship to. She was full of laughter and joy. Pattie had a childlike spirit at times. She had a great imagination and enjoyed playing with Barbies, Power Rangers, swimming and riding bikes with her kids. She never missed an episode of General Hospital but unfortunately lost her QVC privileges.
Pattie was a natural born caregiver. There was nothing more precious to her in this world than being a mama to her kids and a mawmaw to her grandbabies. Having a mom like Pattie every day was an adventure whether it was in Columbus, Kentucky, or across America. She made sure to create memories with her children. Pattie had a heart of gold, and her doors were always open to anyone in need. She always made time to listen, and throughout the years her home was open for family and friends who needed somewhere to rest and get back on their feet. She loved being an Aunt and a friend to all her nieces and nephews. She was their favorite Aunt Patty and PatPat to her great-nieces and nephews.
She was an angel here on Earth and there is no doubt that she will continue to live on as one in Heaven where she is reunited with her loved ones that she dearly missed. Visitation for Pattie will be Tuesday May 27, 2025, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at O. R. Woodyard Co. 1346 S. High St. Columbus, Oh. 43207, where funeral services will be held Wednesday May 28, 2025, at 11:00 am. Pastor Mark Hatfield officiating, Interment Obetz Cemetery.
