Patty Sue Burgett, age 63, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2025, surrounded by family and friends at OSU Wexner Center. She was born on May 27, 1962, to the late Ida Wheeler and Truman Burgett.

In her free time, she enjoyed retail therapy, spending time with family and friends and going to church. Family was the most important thing to Patty; she loved nothing more than creating new memories with her kids and grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son, James Dotson; brother, Charles Burgett; and nephew, Phillip Stump-Burgett. She is survived by daughters, Georgenia Dotson, Niki Thornton; grandchildren, Scrappy, Dakota, Ella, Skyler Tyler, David. Everett, Brooklynn, Jason, Aarin; great-grandchildren, Lyric, Weston, Lanken; sisters, Betty Stump-Burgett and Shirley Wolford; boyfriend, Dana Evans and father-in-law, Dan Evans.
