Penny Sue Eddy, age 67, passed away on Friday June 12, 2026, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Penny was born in Marietta, Ohio on October 21, 1958, to John and Ethel (Connell) Coyle. Penny is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ethel (Connell) Coyle and her husbands parents, Bert and Elizabeth Eddy. She is survived by her husband, Dale Eddy of 47 years; Daughter, Shannon Eddy; Son, John (Brandi) Eddy; grandchildren, Hannah, Dylan, Lukas, Payton, Julie, Kole, and Owen; great grandchildren, Haliana, Kydin, Izabela, Cayden, and Weston; sisters, Laura (Dave) Dobbins and Vera (Redge) Rozell; brothers, Paul (Kathy) Coyle and David Coyle; several nieces and nephews, and many many friends. Penny was Operations Manager at DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse for 37 years.She loved gardening, shopping, shoes, and her Caramel Macchiato (extra hot, extra shot). Visitation for Penny will be held on Monday June 15, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at O.R. Woodyard Co. South High St. chapel. 1346 S. High St. Columbus, Oh. 43207, where funeral services will be held Tuesday June 16, 2026, at 11:00 am. Pastor Jim Blankenship officiating. Interment Obetz Cemetery.
