Phyllis I. Thompson, age 71, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017. Born January 8, 1946 in West Virginia to the late Vallie and Ollie Lester. She is also preceded in death by sisters Shirley and Delores, son-in-law Ed Galloway. Survived by husband of 52 years, Jarvie Thompson; daughters, Sandra Galloway and Jarlene Thompson; granddaughter, Miranda Galloway; great granddaughter, Zoey Tittle; sister, Elise Rose; brother, Edward "Egghead" Lester; special nieces, Sherry, Laura, Jean, Connie, Tracie, Rhonda, and Pattygail; numerous other family members and friends.
