Phyllis Yankulov, age 97, of Pickerington, passed away October 28, 2024 peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of her late husband, Albert of 50 years, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, She was born on August 15, 1927 in Flint, Michigan and lived her childhood in Goumenissa, Greece. She was a dedicated life-long member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral and member of the AHEPA, Philoptochos, Daughters of Penelope, Red Hat Society as well as a volunteer at Ohio State University Hospital.  Preceded in death by her son, Albert Andrew Yankulov; parents, Christos and Annetta Gagas; sister, Mary (Elias) Ikimis; brother Peter (Marika)Gagas. Survived by her son Michael G. (Viann) Yankulov, granddaughters, Alisia (Ward) Mitzel, Annette (Cory) Price, Nicole (Neal) Taylor, grandsons Albert "Andy" and Michael Yankulov. Great grandchildren Gibson, Ramona, Everett and Jack. Nieces Annette Varveris and family, and Krissy Ranieri and family. Along with many godchildren as well as extended family and friends in Greece.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the heartfelt care provided by the entire medical staff at Mount Carmel Hospice. Trisagion prayer service and public visitation will begin at 9:30 AM, Thursday, October 31, 2024 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 555 N. High St, Columbus, Ohio. Followed by a funeral service at 10:30 am. Immediately followed by a memorial luncheon in the social hall. Father Demetrios Gardikes officiating. Interment at Green Lawn Cemetery.
