Preston "Jack" E. Roberts, age 86, passed peacefully from this world, December 1, 2012, to be eternally reunited with his loving wife of 65 years, Katy. He is preceded in death by his parents Preston and Macie Roberts (Bixler), brothers Gerald, Clarence, Eugene, and sisters Belle (Miller) and Dorothy (Thaxton). Jack is survived by his sons, Michael W. (Vicki) Roberts, Gregory E. (Ginger) Roberts, and Larry S. (Karen) Roberts; grandchildren, Michelle (Chuck) Chaffin, Jason Roberts, Cari (Matt) Newman, Brian (Shaunna) Roberts, Sarah (Billy) Chapman, Macy (Kevin) Reall, Niki (Dustin) Finkenbinder, Erin Roberts, and Brandon Grace; great-grandchildren, Megan, Lauren, Hannah, Preston, Brennan, Hunter, Aston, Joey, and MaKayla; brother, Dave Roberts; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was born on October 4, 1926 in Amanda, Ohio. At the age of 17, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served in WWII. He worked at Permacrete Products as a "over the road driver" for 38 years. He was a longtime resident of Groveport, lifelong member of Groveport Zion Church, and a member of Groveport #240 F.&A.M. He loved God, Katy, family, home, gardening, square dancing, camping and fishing.
