Ralph Lee Taylor, age 65, passed away on May 22, 2024. Born March 23, 1959 in Yuma, AZ to the late Cleveland and Wilma Taylor. Ralph served in the US Air Force Reserves. He proudly retired from the Columbus Police Department after working there for over 33 years as a Detective for the cold case homicide division. Ralph's friends could all agree he was an impeccable dresser. When he wasn't working you could find him fishing at the pond behind his neighborhood. Preceded in death by brother, Michael Curtis. Ralph is survived by daughters, LeAnn Taylor and Charday Litzy-Taylor; grandchildren, Gina, Jace, and Jax; brother, Glenn (Deanna) Taylor Sr.; sisters, Phyllis Curtis, Bonita Taylor, and Joan (Keith) Roberson; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 4 to 7 pm at O. R. Woodyard Northwest Chapel 2990 Bethel Road.
