Randy E. Davis of Pomeroy, OH passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 24th 2025. He was preceded in death by father, Charles E. Davis of Columbus, OH; mother, Linda S. Hall and stepfather, Ronnie Hall of Lenore, WV. He is survived by his fiancée, Alice Talbott, sister Karen Davis, brother Darren Davis and nieces Samantha Walker, Candice Davis, Amanda (Hiedi) Doughty and Brandi (Shawn) Stapleton. He also leaves behind step children, Sarah (Allen) Paul, Eric (Windy) Paul and Paige Tocash. Also lifelong friend John Spohn.

Randy was born March 11th, 1959 in Williamson, WV. He moved to Columbus, OH as a child where he attended Stewart Elementary, Barrett Junior High and South High School. He loved to fish, hunt, find things to do around the house, and yard work. He has worked as a truck driver for Jones Top Soil for the last 14 years but was a lifetime painter. He most enjoyed sitting on the porch with Alice and his dogs Hank, Molly and Mitzi while they watched and listened to the birds. Randy knew no stranger and would talk to everybody just like his mother, Linda Sue.

Visiting hours will be Sunday March, 30th from 2-5 pm at O.R. WOODYARD COMPANY CHAPEL 1346  S. High Street, Columbus. Following the visiting hours, family and friends are welcome to gather at the Gates and Fourth United Methodist Church at 119 E. 4th St. Cols, OH 43207 from 5-7pm. There will be a service on Monday, March 31st at 10am at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL with burial to follow at Sycamore Cemetery, 5918 Sycamore Rd.Hurricane (Culloden), WV 25510.
