Rebecca "Becky" Sue Ward, age 66, passed away peacefully Monday, January 19, 2026, at her residence in Groveport, OH. Becky was born October 13, 1959 in Columbus, OH to the late Glen and Janet Fraley. Becky was a faithful Christian, with a deep passion for helping people. Becky proudly traveled as a minister and evangelist, throughout the United States and foreign countries. She also served as Pastor's Wife and Music Service Leader of her church for many years. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially as "Maw Maw" to her grandchildren. Becky is preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Janet Fraley; sister, Glenda Large. She is survived by husband of 47 years, Curtis Ward; children, Brandon (Genalyn) Ward and Makayla (Cyrus) Oliver; grandchildren, Rylan Lee Ward-Osborn, Knight Vail Oliver, Atlas J. Oliver, and Sebastian Salazar Ward (who is on the way); siblings, Jamie (Belinda Smith) Fraley and Deborah Kay (Larry) Carfrey; numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends. Her family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to her sister, Deborah; her best friends, Donna and Sheila; and the staff at the OSU James Cancer Hospital for all of their dedicated care and support to Becky and her family throughout her journey. Her family would also like to extend gratitude to Meta Church, First Pentecostal Church, and TurnPoint Church for their prayers and support as well. Visitation for Becky will be Friday, January 23, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH where funeral service will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 10 a.m. Pastor Josh Ipock will officiate. Interment will follow at Mifflin Township Cemetery, Gahanna, OH.
