Reverend Paul V. Collins made his final journey to his heavenly home on July 25, 2024, at home with his family near. He was born on April 9, 1931, to the late William and Cula Collins. He lived in Westerville from 1959 until 1973, when he moved to Columbus and remained there until his passing. Paul is a member of Canaan Land Baptist Church in Grove City. Paul was a U S Army Veteran who served in the Korean War.

He is survived by three sons: Paul E (Suzy) Collins, Gary Collins, Michael (Suzanne) Collins, and daughter, Paula Collins; sister, Jenny Gibson. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and friends.  He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, mother and father-in-law, one son, one son-in-law, several brothers and sisters, and one granddaughter.

His faith and trust in Jesus has been his source of strength since confessing Christ as his saviour on October 24, 1964. He has served well as pastor of Pickerington Freewill Baptist Church and Trinity Freewill Baptist for over 60 years.

The family will receive friends on July 31 at Canaan Land Church 2777 Gantz Rd. Grove City Ohio 43123 from 5-8 Wednesday evening and 10-11 am the following morning prior to the service. Funeral service will be August 1 at 11am with Pastor Shawn Beauchamp officiating. Burial will be at the Fernwood Cemetery, 460 Rowe Rd. Lockbourne, Ohio. The family would also like to thank Luminary Hospice for their outstanding care for our Dad in this difficult time.
