Rex A. Ray Jr. passed away suddenly at his home on June 23, 2025 of natural causes.

He is survived by his wife Kristy, mother Iretha, sister Tammy, sons Rob and Rocky (Jennifer), step-daughters Brittany (Ryan), Tiffany (Colton), grandchildren August, Josh, Lilee, Dean, Haven and Marshall along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and countless friends.

Born in Columbus, OH, he grew up in Groveport. He graduated in 1975 from Groveport Madison High School. It was there that he met his first wife Cindy, who passed in 2021. Before retiring in 2020 he was a shift manager at AcelorMittal. He was know for his big heart and his belly laugh. He loves to ride motorcycles, fish, play pranks and spend time with his family and friends.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 from 11 am to 2 pm, to honor Ray,  at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME 587 Main Street in Groveport, OH. 43125.
