Richard "Rich" Dale Collins, age 70, passed away Monday, April 14, 2025 at his residence in Columbus, OH. Rich was born March 7, 1955 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Rose Collins. Rich proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He owned and operated Rose Automotive for over 20 years. He was a loyal Kansas City Chiefs Fan, and also loyally served at the local VA. Rich is preceded in death by his mother, Rose Collins; sister, Jean D. Day; and brother, Gary Grooms. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Gloria Collins; children, Sarah (Eric) Welly, Brad (Lee Anne) Collins, and Kristy (fiancée, Chris Dawson) Collins; step children, Kim Gobel, Jay Gobel, Heather Gobel, and Raymond Gobel; 21 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Eddie and Ruben Rhodes; sister-in-law, Theresa A. Rhodes; best friend, Sam Dutton; special canine companions, Reese and Snicker; special nephews, Billy Harrison and Kevin Six; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Visitation for Rich will be Friday, April 18, 2025 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. South Chapel, 1346 S. High St. in Columbus, OH.
