Richard John Fernan, age 71, passed away November 26, 2022. Born June 16, 1951 in Buffalo, NY to the late Colton and Mary Fernan. He is now with in Heaven with his son, Scotty Fernan. Richard is survived by his children, Billy Fernan, Michelle Fernan, and Ciera Fernan; grandchildren, Cynthia, Justus, Tierra, Neaveah, Sabrina, Geovannie, Leonardo, Marcos, Elena, and Aires; brothers Bob and Greg Fernan; sister, Eileen Fernan, as well as his in laws; other relatives and friends. Papa was a rolling stone who was loved by almost everyone he met. He had an impact on people he truly cared for. He knew how to listen and be a friend. He was a great father and awesome grandpa. He has always been there for all of us throughout the years. He made us laugh and was there for us when we cried. He always kept it real and said what we needed to hear even if it was tough. He was the kind of man that would take the shirt off his back for someone who needed it. He related to people with ease and always tried to help or at the very least let you know he cared about you. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 1, from 3:00 pm until the time of funeral service at 5:00 pm at O. R. Woodyard South Chapel 1346 S.
