Richard Lee McMichael, age 81, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 28, 2022. He was born in Xenia, Ohio on July 30, 1940 to the late Carl McMichael and Helen Stivers. He retired from the Navy after 20 years of service and retired with USPS after 25 years, He is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine McMichael, as well as his sister, Nancy McMichael. He is survived by his brothers, James (Linda) McMichael, Phil (Lynnora) Stivers, and Steven Stivers; his children: Patricia and Richard A. McMichael; grandchildren: Amanda (Rico) Snyder, Rebecca (Devon) Granstrom, Patrick Snyder, Jacob, Charlotte, Abram,Adelaide, Isaac, Tucker, Georgia, and Thomas McMichael; great grandchidlren, Dakota and Rowan Granstrom; along with many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the O.R. Woodyard Co. South Chapel (1346 S. High St. Cols. OH, 43207) from 5 PM until 7 PM.
