Richard "Rick" Valentine age 70, of Columbus, passed away December 1, 2018. Rick was born June 30, 1948 to his parents the late Adrian and Joanne Hessler Valentine. He graduated Marion Franklin High School, Class of 1966; U.S. Marine Veteran; Retired Ameritech with almost 30 years service. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mark; sister, Janice Leonard, father and mother in law, Conrad and Mary Jo Tope Wilmers. Survived by his wife of 21 years, "Bev" ; children, Ron A McMannis, Matthew (Amy) Valentine, Brandy (Jim) Hurl, Michael Valentine, Stephanie (Travis) Wenning. Grandchildren, Melia Valentine, Aubrey, Caleb, Thomas, Jakob Valentine, Savannah McMannis (baby girl), Corbin, Brantley Wenning; sisters. Judith (Jim) Thomas, Karen Snelling; brother, Craig (Sheila) Valentine; sisters in law, Barbara Newhard and Loraine Wilmers; many nieces, nephews, friends and other family. Friends may call at the O.
