Rita Ann Hilsheimer born January 3, 1963 to Richard Allen and Marilyn B. Duemmel Hilsheimer left us on February 29, 2024.

Rita spent countless hours knitting, crocheting, and doing needlework. She enjoyed sharing her creations with family and friends. New nieces and nephews were always greeted with beautiful blankets, bibs, and personalized momentos that will be cherished for generations. We already miss her witty quips and laughs.

Rita was proud to be a licensed insurance agent and customer service representative with several agencies. She cherished the friends she made throughout her career.

Rita was preceeded in death by her parents. She is survived by sisters Becky Ann Hill, Rae Ann (Jerry) Birkhimer, brother Richard "Dick" (Krista) Hilsheimer, 11 nieces and nephews, and 12 great nieces and great nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs Harry and George who miss her dearly.

To honor Rita's memory, her family encourages memorial contributions to a local animal shelter or charity of your choice.

The family will hold a private Celebration of Life. She will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
